Wedding on the Water | DiMillos in Portland MaineWhen Jennifer reached out to me, I was elated. I've known Jenn for a while and met Ryan recently at their family session this past summer. The way they look at each other, or TO each other, is a lesson we should all internalize. Both parents of young children, I saw them look at each other with love and acceptance. They look to each other when one kiddo wouldn't smile, or one wanted to run. I saw them leaning on each other and I saw it instantly. It was a fun, warm summer evening and as always with kids, they want to play. But I noticed something unique... this little family all helped each other out - sister helped brother when he couldn't find the shell he wanted. Ryan helped sister step over the sticks to get to her rock. It was awesome. So when I received the call to ask me to photograph their wedding, I was pumped! I see their love clearly... and I as you all know, I love love. Perfect fit. :) I also love that they chose a winter wedding! This winter wedding was exactly what you'd imagine - even with some snowflakes!
