I photographed little Reid when he was just a few days old... at his home, literally weeks into COVID lockdown. We took every precaution and I'm so glad we did. Being a photographer during a pandemic is hard... moments still happen in life, we don't stop having babies or having birthdays or holidays just because a pandemic is devastating the world. It is fairly easy to safely photograph families, weddings, etc because photographers naturally stay far away from clients (lenses, hello). Newborn sessions are much different. Photographers often hold, pose, dress and comfort newborns. This part isn't possible right now, which means photos look a little different from the snuggly, sleepy, posed photos we are used to. But Reid didn't want to sleep anyway, so we were good to go :)
